Project Name: Annual Contract for Large Water Meter Installations

- Annual Contract for Testing & Analysis of Large Water Meters
The purpose of this contract is to provide installation of large water meters, detector checks, fire hydrants and appurtenant pipe laying services.
The scope of this project includes:
Installing and replacing water meters with diameters greater than two inches.
The installation of large water meters, detector checks, fire hydrants and the associated appurtenances allows the City of Atlanta to provide customers with new water services, thereby allowing new development to occur.
Justification:
- Contributes to more stable revenue projections
- Reduces the number of inaccurate and/or estimated bill
- Enhances customer satisfaction through more accurate billing
- Reduces cost and effort for corrective and emergency maintenance
