Project Name: Annual Contract for Large Meters Testing & Repair

This contract provides the services necessary to locate, conduct site surveys, evaluate, and test large meters that are part of the City of Atlanta’s water distribution system. For the purpose of this contract, large meters are defined as meters that are greater than or equal to 1 ½ inches in size.  
 
Justification: 

• Helps to ensure the accuracy of the City’s large water meters 
• Facilitates fair and accurate billing and revenue collection 
• Reduces the number of inaccurate and/or estimated bills 
• Reduces the cost and effort associated with corrective and emergency maintenance
